Seend Head House

GV II

Outbuilding, probably for drying of wool, C18 altered early C19,
rubble stone and red brick with stone slate roof. Two storeys.
Upper floor was formerly open on three sides with red brick piers
and weatherboard west gable. Openings now infilled in brick.
Rubble stone at east end with late C17 or early C18 oval light on
north wall. Rubble stone ground floor used as a stable in C19,
with two doors with overlights each side of glazing bar window on
south side. Lower Bridgwater-tiled range to west, now garage with
rubble stone walls has been reduced in height and length in C20.
