C18 front to older building, 3 storeys, the 2nd floor false in tall parapet
with moulded capping, gable behind. 1st floor sill course. 3 windows,
those on 2nd floor false, in flush architrave frames, sash, glazing bars
intact. Ground floor: coupled sashes to left, glazing bars intact, moulded
frame. No 48 door recessed of 4 flush panels, surround with moulded edge,
flat hood on cut brackets. In centre shop window of 3 lights flanked by
Doric pilasters with frieze and cornice. No 49 doorway similar to No 48
but the door is in deeper recess and of 6 flush panels.

Nos 48 to 52 (consec) form a group.
