II

Farmhouse, now house. Late C16 or early C17 with late C18 or early
C19 addition to right. Timber framed. Ground floor painted brick,
first floor tile-hung. Plain tile roof. 2 timber-framed bays and
right stack bay of late C16 or early C17 house, with late C18
or early C19 bay added to right. 2 storeys and garret to left, 2 storeys
to right on low brick plinth. Right section slightly recessed. Roof
of left section half-hipped. Right section gabled, with lower ridge.
Gable end stack to right end of each section. Irregular fenestration
of three 2-light windows: 2 horizontally-sliding sashes to left section
and one 2-light casement to right. Blocked door to centre of left
section and boarded door with central rectangular light to left end
of right section. C19 lean-to to left in same materials. Rear lean-
to. Interior: exposed framing, with tension braces to partitions.
Mortice for diamond mullion window to left gable end.
