of chancel wall
to the church of
St Mary Magdalen
GV II
Chest tomb. Mid to late C17. Sandstone. Flat top with reserved corners and
cavetto edge mould, high relief cartouche including head of cherub to north,
other panels plain, base sunk at time of survey, November 1983. Inscription
north side to John Jane, 1770 and to Edmund Jane, 1773, on south. Lies c2m
south of monument to the son of John Jane (qv).
