A timber-framed house of late C16 origin with C17 extension and C18 and later
alterations and additions. Refronted in the C18 in red brick, with a parapet.
2 storeys, 7 window range with a 3 window range extension, double-hung sashes
with glazing bars, in plain reveals. A central 4-panel door has a rectangular
fanlight, fluted pilasters and a cornice. Roof tiled, with 2 original chimney stacks
with grouped diagonal shafts on square bases. (RCHM 15).

All the listed buildings around The Green form a group. (Nos 8, lo, 58, 52, and 25 are buildings of local interest.)
