A C18 timber-framed and plastered house with a later red brick front with a parapet and a raised, brick band with brick dentils. Two storeys and attics three window range, double-hung sashes with glazing bars, in plastered reveals, with segmental heads. The ground storey has two C19 canted bay windows with slate roofs and a central. Six-panel door with a semi-circular fanlight and a wood doorcase with pilasters and an open modillion pediment. A raised brick band runs between the storeys. Roof tiled, with three flat headed dormers to the front and two gabled dormers to the rear.

Nos 1 to 3 (consec) with Nos 9 and 12 Lodge Road form a group.
