The lion and the unicorn have been repainted to look less warlike. The Arms are Quarlerly 1 and 3, Gules 3 leopards or (England), 2, Or a lion rampant gules (Scotland. The border, cotised gules flory and counterflory has not been included). 3, Azure a harp or stringed argent (Ireland). Inescutcheon 1, Gules 2 leopards or (Brunswick), 2, Or (strewn with hearts gules is missing) a lion rampant azure (Luneberg), 3, Gules a horse courant argent (Westphalia) surmounted by a bonnet (for the Elector of hanover). Inescutcheon (shield within a shield) a crown. (Photo Sept 2009).
