Barn and adjoining cartshed. Circa early C19, enlarged circa early - mid C19.
Granite rubble with granite dressings. Hipped scantle slate barn roof, lower gable-
ended roof over cartshed.
Plan: rectangular granary over shippon right with external granite steps to rear
loading/winnowing doorway at rear left. Smaller square cartshed adjoining at left-
hand end with wide doorway at rear. Ground slopes down at front and left.
Exterior: single storey cartshed left and 2-storey barn, right. South-west front
with wide doorway right of middle and winnowing doorway at first floor left.
Rear has small ground and first floor windows (first floor opening reduced), doorway
at right hand side of barn and at top of steps towards right.
Interior: original floors and roof structures.
Part of an unspoiled coastal hamlet set in the ancient field system of this part of
Cornwall.
