2 houses. Datestone inscribed: "RTI/1712", with later C18 extension.
Roughcast stone with slate roofs. L-plan, 2 storeys; east facade of 3 bays
extended to south as lean-to projection to part of gable end of south wing,
which has smaller lean-to projection. Windows have small-paned fixed glazing
with opening lights, but sashed windows with glazing bars to extension to
south. Entrance to 1st bay with datestone above, and trellis porch. Entrance
to return of extension. Lean-to projection has ground-floor recessed porch;
2 windows above are in thin wall; possibly this was a gallery. 2 cross-axial
stacks. South wing of 3 bays. 1st floor sill band. Windows are sashed with
glazing bars. Enclosed porch has paired half-glazed doors with iron balcony
above. Gable-end stacks. Returns have decorative bargeboards; that to right
has lean-to projection with 2-light wooden chamfered-mullioned window over.
Interior has chamfered beams, one with gun rack; 2-panel door; 2 adjacent
cupboards with fielded panel doors; slate shelves to former dairy. South wing
has 2-panel doors with H-L hinges, dog-leg stair has turned balusters and
panelled square newels.
