of the High Hall

GV II

Barn or coach-house. Early C18 with mid C18 additions. Hammer-
dressed stone, dressed quoins, stone slate roof. 2 storeys, 5 bays.
Originally 3-bay symmetrical facade with projecting gabled bay having
tall cart entry with shouldered lintel, a 3-light double-chamfered
mullioned window above and a coped gable with kneelers and ball finials.
Flanking are doorways with composite jambs with chamfered surrounds (that
to left blocked). Outer bays have a 2-light window to each floor. All
windows have latticed glazing. 2 bays added to left have matching
windows and doorway with monolithic jambs. Coped gables with kneelers
the gables surmounted by spiked finials.

Interior : 6-bay fish-bone king-post roof.
