Terraced town house. c.1790-1800 with slight early C.19 alteration, part of Portman
Estate development following on Great Cumberland Place. Stock brick with channelled
stucco ground floor; concealed slate roof. 5 storeys and basement. 3 windows
wide. Square headed doorway to left, under stucco Doric columned porch; panelled
door and fanlight. Recessed sashes under flat gauged red brick arches to upper
floors. Plat band finishing off ground floor stuccowork. Crowning stucco cornice
and blocking course. Continuous, geometric patterned, cast iron balcony to 1st
floor. Cast iron area railings with tasselled spearhead finials.
