Terraced town house. c.1790-1800 (with some slightly later alterations),
Portman Estate development, following on Great Cumberland Place. Stock
brick with channelled stucco ground floor; concealed slate roof. 4
storeys and basement. 3 windows wide. Semicircular arched doorway to
left; panelled door and sidelights with shallow consoles to palmette
ornamented doorhead and radial patterned fanlight over all. Recessed
sashes, those on upper floors in stucco architraves, with cornices on
consoles to 1st floor. Stucco crowning cornice and blocking course.
Continuous, geometric patterned, cast iron balcony to 1st floor. Cast
iron area railings with tasselled spearhead finials.
