A pair circa 1830. 4 storeys and basement brown brick. The 1st floor is painted
brick and the ground floor and basement are rusticated stucco. Stone parapet with
moulded eaves cornice. 2 sashes each with glazing bars Intact. 1st floor anthemion
motif balcony with tent-shaped canopy. The ground floor and basement have curved
bays with 3-light windows on the ground floor. Simple round-headed doorcase with
semi-circular fanlights, panelled reveals and 6 fielded panelled doors. Flights
of stone steps and iron railings. Area railings to No 9 only. The side and rear
elevations are flint-faced.

Nos 1 to 11 (odd) form a group.
