GV II

Former Methodist chapel set back from the road, now converted
for industrial use. Mid C19. Limestone ashlar with a slate
roof. Rectangular plan.
EXTERIOR: 2 storeys; gabled one-bay front. Low battlements and
parapet to a shallow forward-facing gable; hoodmould to a
large pointed-arched 4-light window with intersecting tracery.
3 pointed arches with a continuous hoodmould to the ground
floors; steps up to double half-glazed 2-panel doors with
bolection moulding and
Y tracery to the overlight which are flanked by 2-light
windows with Y tracery.
INTERIOR: not inspected.
The Spinkes printing firm took over this building as
industrial premises in 1909 and remained in business until
1978.
