Includes: No.1 LADD'S LANE.
House. C18. Converted to a corner shop mid/late C19. Painted
limestone rubble, rendered to the front, hipped stone slate
roof with central hipped dormer and C20 brick stacks to left
return and exterior of rear gable end. L-shaped plan (the rear
wing appears to have been truncated).
EXTERIOR: 2 storeys with attic; 3-window range. The dormer has
Welsh slate-hung cheeks and a C19 3-light casement window;
4/4-pane sash windows, paired to the right and one to the left
return; C19 shop fascias with cornices, C20 central door to
the front, that to the left return in Ladd's Lane is now a
window, both have reeded architraves with patera to the square
blocks of the upper corners.
