Manor house, now flats. Dated 1757. Limestone ashlar,
double-pitched slate roof with ashlar ridge stacks to front
and rear ranges and one to the left of the valley.
Mid-Georgian style. L-shaped plan.
EXTERIOR: 3 storeys; symmetrical 7-bay range, 4 windows to the
left return, 3 bays to the right return. The central 3 bays
step slightly forward under a modillioned pediment; modillion
cornice to front and returns; parapet balustraded over the
windows; moulded architraves to windows, 3/6-pane sash windows
to the 2nd floor, 6/6-pane sashes with cornices to the rest.
Prostyle portico with Ionic columns supporting an entablature
with a pulvinated palmette frieze and dentilled cornice over a
moulded architrave to a 8-flush-panelled door.
The rear is 5-window range, a large semicircular-arched stair
window with a keystone is to the left of centre. A lead
rainwater head and pipe is dated "1757".
INTERIOR: not inspected but noted as having been altered
during conversion to flats.
