No.12A and attached rubblestone wall to the south-east

House. Mid C19. Limestone ashlar with a slate roof.
Double-depth plan.
EXTERIOR: 3 storeys; 2-window range. 3/6-pane sash windows to
the 2nd floor, 6/6-panes to the 1st floor and paired 6/6-pane
sashes to the ground-floor right. To the left is a pediment on
brackets and moulded architrave to a 6-panel door, glazed to
the top. The floors are separated by incised platbands, that
to the 2nd floor with a Soanian key pattern, that to the 1st
floor with medieval style diamonds.
INTERIOR: not inspected.
SUBSIDIARY FEATURES: attached to the left corner a rubblestone
wall encloses a yard to the rear. Approx 2m high, it curves
for approx 10m back along St Mary Street to meet the wall to
St Andrew's Church Hall (qv).
