Row of 4 houses. c1850. Limestone ashlar, shallow-pitched
slate roofs with brick stacks to party walls and gable ends.
Double-depth plans.
EXTERIOR: 2 storeys; Nos 11-13 are one-window range, No.14 to
the left is 2-window range and slightly higher. Raised
surrounds; eaves and 1st-floor bands; 6/6-pane sash windows
without horns; 4-panel doors with narrow overlights to the
right of No.11, paired to Nos 12 and 13 under a blind window
to the party wall, and paired doors to the right of No.14,
that to the far right is C20, probably a former passage
entrance to the rear. No.11 has C20 windows, Nos 12 and 13
have C20 windows to the ground floor.
INTERIOR: not inspected.
One of the better-preserved groups of artisan housing in this
suburb, built up after the arrival of the railway in
1840-1841.
