House. Mid C19. Limestone ashlar with hipped slate roof and
2 moulded ashlar stacks to rear. L-shaped plan with a rear
left wing.
EXTERIOR: 2 storeys; 4-window range. Platband, plinth and
chamfered rusticated quoins; raised surrounds; margin panes
with small square panes at the corners, to plate-glass sash
windows. Left-of-centre 4-panelled door glazed to the top,
fanlight with small margin panes, engaged columns to a Tuscan
doorcase; a window above is semicircular-arched with similar
glazing.
INTERIOR: not inspected.
SUBSIDIARY FEATURES: attached to left corner is a high ashlar
wall with a semicircular-arched opening to the rear wing. The
wall sweeps forward for approx 10m and down to meet a pier at
the corner of the garden. The garden is fronted by a low
rubblestone wall with freestone coping for approx 30m.
Chamfered gate piers toward the left and another at the
right-hand corner have cornices and pyramidal caps.
