Terrace of 4 houses with weavers' garrets. c1820. Flemish bond
brickwork with blue headers. Plain-tiled roof.
EXTERIOR: 3 storeys, each a 2-window range. Cambered heads to
doorways and lower 3-light casement windows (many renewed in
original openings). No.31 has tripartite shop window with
moulded architrave and shallow cornice. Gothick arched windows
to first floor, with Y-tracery to mainly cast-iron glazing.
Attic storey has long horizontal garret windows renewed in
original openings. Formerly similar windows in rear elevation
now mainly renewed or blocked. Round-arched passage entry
between Nos 31 and 33. Plain brick eaves band. Axial stacks.
