Garden wall to north of Jenningsbury

GV II

Garden wall. Early C18. Red brick, average height 2 metres,
irregular and part English bond, with early C20 brick-on-edge
coping partly enclosing the Jenningsbury site on the line of
the inner bank of the moat, partly surviving, around the
north. Approx 150m run with return ends; in centre of north
side is a low set arch, possibly originally for a culvert or
drain from the house.
Forms a significant element in the setting of Jenningsbury
(qv).
