Terrace of 4 houses. C18 with C19 alterations. Red brick,
Flemish bond, with grey overburnt headers, particularly at
right. Concrete tiled roof hipped on right, 2 red brick
chimneys on ridge and substantial square chimney to right over
hipped end.
EXTERIOR: 2 storeys and attics; first floor with four 2-light
wood small-paned casement windows, and 1 narrow casement left
of window of No.231; first-floor level plat band. Ground floor
with four 2-light casements with heads at soffit of plat band
and projecting grey brick rubbed arches, with extrados above
band, four 4 flush-panelled doors with red rubbed flat arches
above. Left (north) flank elevation rebuilt late C19 with 2
attic wood casement windows, 2 small-paned casements on first
floor and 1 single and one 2-light casement on ground floor.
Roof with 2 small box casement dormers. No.235 at right, with
black weatherboarded end and rear gabled wing, and C20 single
storey lean-to at right.
INTERIOR: not inspected.
Forms part of a significant street frontage with No.234 (qv).
