House, formerly with ground floor shop. 1876. Yellow gault
brick, Flemish bond, gabled old tiled roof.
EXTERIOR: 2 storey. First floor has wood mullion and transom
casement window, with divided glazing, in gable at left under
rubbed brick cambered arch, terracotta shield above with date
'1876' and Cowper crest. C20 steel window centre right, and
two 2-light wood casements with divided glazing. Ground floor
has two 3-light mullion and transom casements under rubbed
brick cambered arches and central glazed door with flush lower
panels. Broad carriageway at right with elliptical rubbed
brick arch with chamfered intrados and jambs, twin leaf
boarded gates. Rear courtyard with lower 2-storey outshuts
with tiled roofs, of earlier date than frontage block.
