Inn (part of the former 'White Swan Inn' with Nos 28-30 and
No.5 Church Street (qv)) now shop. C17, refronted early C19
when roof raised at front. Timber-framed and stuccoed, Welsh
slated roof, with old tiles at rear.
EXTERIOR: 3-storey, 4-bay front (2 structural bays). First and
second floors have 4 flush-set 12-pane sash windows with
architrave surrounds, spaced 2:2, those above of squatter
proportions. Ground floor has late C19 full width shopfront,
plate glass display window with moulded mullions, recessed
entrance at left, and full width canted fascia with cornice,
between slim cut consoles. Long rear outshut of little
architectural interest.
INTERIOR: ground floor opened out but timber beams visible in
ceiling and on first floor, roof not accessible, and most of
structure concealed.
