House, now offices. Mid/late C18 front to slightly earlier
structure, with late C20 alterations. Red brick, Flemish bond,
with some overburnt headers, orange-red dressings, sides and
rear plastered over timber-frame, three quarter hipped old
tiled roof. Central entry plan, 3-bay front.
EXTERIOR: first floor has 2 triple 4:12:4-pane sashes, and
central 12-pane sash, recessed beneath rubbed brick arches.
First floor plat band. Ground floor has 2 triple 4:12:4-pane
sashes. Central recessed 6-panel door with panelled
reveals,architrave surround, doorcase with Tuscan Doric
pilasters, entablature with triglyph frieze and panelled
metopes and flat modillioned moulded cornice. Portland stone
threshold.
Roof with 3 box casement dormers (outer 3-light, central
2-light), square red brick chimneystacks.
Rear outshut of 2 storeys, with weatherboarded upper floor,
linked to large modern rear outshut which is not of special
interest.
INTERIOR: much altered, some C18 cornices, stair with Tuscan
column newels, stick balusters and moulded handrails. Roof
with riven and sawn rafters, thin ridge board.
