House, now shop. C19 front, Late C16/early C17 with C19
alterations. Timber-framing in party wall, stuccoed brick,
rendered side, monopitch roof with C20 clay tile covering
concealed by parapet with moulded stucco cornice and C20 brick
on edge.
EXTERIOR: 3-storey, single-bay structure infilling between
more substantial buildings. First floor has canted timber
oriel bay with triple sash 2:6:2-pane, with hipped lead roll
roof, second floor with single recessed 6-pane sash window
below segmental arch. Ground floor with C19 shopfront, closed
plate glass window, half-glazed door with twin bolection
surrounded lower panels, pilaster surround with moulded
consoles and coupled brackets.
INTERIOR: has substantial timber studwork visible in both
party walls, winder stairs at rear, basement now cement
floored and plastered. C17 studwork visible on first floor.
Roof not accessible.
