Pair of houses. Mid-late C19. Limestone ashlar in diminishing
courses, brick ridge stacks and interlocking tile roof.
Double-depth plan.
3 storeys; 1:2-window range. No.3 a symmetrical front with a
matching 1-window range to the left with a left-hand door;
segmental-arched heads to recessed doorways with half-glazed
doors, No.3 with horned 2/2-pane sashes, No.5 with mid C20
casements. Rubble returns and rear outshut.
INTERIOR: not inspected. Included for the visual quality of
the facades, part of a good group.
