Terrace of 3 houses, now 2. Early C19, No.8 rebuilt after fire
c1807, roof raised mid C19, left return rebuilt late C20.
Coursed limestone rubble, brick, artificial stone, brick ridge
and gable stacks and a stone slate roof.
Double-depth plan.
2 storeys and attic; 2:1-window range. Formerly an attached
pair with paired central doorways and a right-hand addition,
left-hand doorway now blocked, remaining two with timber
canopies. Timber lintels to late C19 2/2-pane horned sashes,
and a single left-hand casement dormer. A full-width band of
brickwork added above first-floor windows when front roof
pitch raised; the left-hand return rebuilt with artificial
stone.
Rear has 2 outer 2-storey blocks with hipped roofs linked by a
single-storey outshut.
