Bandstand. Said to be 1895. Extensively restored c1990.
Cast-iron with zinc pagoda roof. Octagonal plan, surrounded by
lily-pond moat with bridge on west side. Columns set on
limestone kerb stones, linked by low iron railings and by
curved brackets which form elliptical arches with foliage
spandrel decoration. At the apex of the roof and at each
corner there are ornamental finials.
The sides of the bandstand were previously glazed. The timber
window frames and glass were removed when the structure was
restored.
