SO47NE Ayntree Farmhouse

Farmhouse. Early C19. Brick over stone plinth; hipped Welsh
slate roof; brick end stacks. Central staircase plan.
EXTERIOR: 3 storeys and cellar; 3-window range: mullion and
transom casements; mullioned casements to second floor. Stone
steps to part-glazed fielded-panel door in moulded oak case,
under simple pentice-roofed porch; flanked by mullion and
transom casements. Right returned side has C20 plank door, in
oak frame, to cellar. Later C19 single-storey outhouse with
ridge stack to rear.
INTERIOR: dog-leg staircase with stick balusters;
stop-chamfered ceiling beams; 4-panel doors.
