House. C17. Timber-frame and painted brick on sandstone rubble
plinth; plain tile roofs; 3 C19 spurred brick ridge stacks.
L-shaped on plan.
EXTERIOR: 2 storeys; 3-window range. Central 2-light, flanked
by 3-light mullion windows with metal lattice-glazed
casements. Timber-frame with passing braces. Central entrance:
C19 part-glazed 4-panel door in moulded architrave, under late
C19 or early C20 timber-framed gabled porch with curved
brackets and braces, and spike finial; flanked by 3-light
mullion and transom windows with casements and
lattice-glazing; C20 encased bressumer and brackets.
Advanced 3-bay wing to left: mullion and transom window with
3-light casement over; lattice glazing. Painted brick gable
with tier of two 4-light lattice-glazed casements, under
restored moulded bressumer; C19 outshut to left.
Right returned side: tier of lattice-glazed casements; simple
wood hood; moulded bressumer.
Rear: various lattice-glazed lights and roof dormer; spike
finials; C20 studded plank door; advanced gable wing with
2-light mullion glazed window to gable with spike finial.
INTERIOR: early and mid C17 stop-chamfered ceiling-frames;
stone fireplace with chamfered oak lintel.
