SO58SW Lydehole Farmhouse

Farmhouse. Late C17. Timber-frame and plaster; steep-pitched
Welsh slate roof; rubble ridge stack with brick chimney; brick
external stack to left returned side. 2-bay plan, with brick
bay to right.
EXTERIOR: single-storey and attic; entrance to centre left:
plank door in C19 brick gabled porch with plain tile roof; to
left, French windows; to right, C20 casement, C19 and C20
brick and rubble bay to far right, with C19 2-light casement;
3/3 sash in altered opening to right returned side. Rear: C20
box-dormer, over C20 casement; battened plank door and
cast-iron light, to left.
INTERIOR: ogee-stop chamfered ceiling beams; exposed
timber-framing; blocked stone fireplace with timber lintel.
