GV II

House. Early C19, to earlier core. Dressed coursed sandstone;
Welsh slate roof; brick ridge and buttress stacks; stepped
rubble external stack with brick chimney to left returned
side. E-shaped on plan, with lateral and rear wings.
EXTERIOR: 3 storeys; 3-window range: 6/6 sashes under stone
flat arches; 3/3 sashes over. Central entrance: panelled door
under 4-centred arch flanked by 6/6 sashes. Advanced wings
have tripartite 2/2: 6/6: 2/2 sashes to ground floor, with
blind openings over; right gable has fixed lights; left gable
has 8/9 sash, with 8/8 sash and band to gable-head. Left
returned side and wing to rear: various C19 lights and
casements, under brick segmental arches.
Right returned side: C19 3 storey bay window with 4/4: 8/8:
4/4 sashes; various 6/6, 3/6 and 3/3 sashes; part-glazed door.
Wing to rear: hipped plain tile roof; colonnade with Ionic
columns; sashes; French windows with fanlight.
