CULMINGTON

SO48SE Culmington Farmhouse

GV II

Farmhouse. Mid C19. Squared sandstone rubble; plain tile roof;
brick end stacks.
EXTERIOR: 3 storeys; 3-window range: central 3/3 sash in
moulded case under ashlar ogee-head, flanked by similar sashes
under ashlar segmental arches; similar but smaller sashes
over; brick dentilled eaves-band. Central entrance with
6-moulded-panel door in painted oak frame, with ogee-headed
overlight, and ashlar head, flanked by 3/3 sashes in moulded
cases under ashlar segmental arches. Single-storey wing to
rear: rubble; plain tile roof; cross-axial brick ridge stack;
front to road has 4 small gables, 2 over advanced bays;
various C19 windows and metal casements.
INTERIOR: not inspected.
