Terrace of 4 small houses plus another house at rear. 12A is
probably early C19, otherwise 1860 (datestone). Killas rubble
with shallow segmental brick arches; original grouted scantle
slate to Nos 6, 8 (left) & 12A, asbestos slate to Nos 10 & 12,
hipped roof with brick axial stacks; cast-iron ogee gutters;
slatehanging on studwork to No.12A. Shallow double-depth plan;
No.12A is behind Nos 8 & 10.
2 storeys, over basement at rear; overall 4-window range.
Regularly-spaced original 12-pane hornless sashes, except
where glazing bars removed to 1st-floor right of Nos 8 & 12,
and C20 horned copy to ground floor of No.12. Original
elliptical-arched pilastered doorways: 3 central doorways
(2 house doorways flanking ope doorway) and 2 end doorways;
original 4-panel doors except for C20 door to No.12. Rear has
mostly original sashes: 12-pane sashes except No.12A which has
16-pane sashes.
INTERIORS not inspected but likely to be as unaltered as the
exterior.
