Town house with shop. Early C19. Stucco or render with
panelled end pilasters and bead and reel cornice under deep
eaves soffit; asbestos slatehanging under hip to right-hand
return; dry slate half-hipped roof; brick end stacks towards
front plus external stack to near centre of right-hand return
plus lateral stack at rear. Double-depth plan.
3 storeys plus attic; 3-window range with blind central
windows. Original 12-pane hornless sashes (glazing bars
removed to 1st-floor right). Ground floor has full-width (plus
right-hand return) moulded entablature with fascia over late
C20 shop front. Right-hand return is a 3-window range plus a
very tall transomed round-arched stair window right of centre
with spoked fanlight head and glazing bars; 2-storey canted
bays on either side; late C19 horned sashes; glazing bars to
the narrower central bay and to upper window on left over
early C20 transomed oriel with moulded cornice. Doorway to
ground-floor right with moulded hood on consoles. C19 attic
sashes. INTERIOR of shop altered C20, otherwise not inspected.
