GV II

Warehouse set on earlier quay walls, now converted to
residential accommodation. Early C19 warehouse built on c1700
quay. Killas and granite rubble with granite quoins and
segmental brick arches; 1st and 2nd floors of seaward end are
weatherboarding on studwork; dry Delabole slate roof hipped at
seaward end. Quay walls are vertically-set drystone rubble
(considered to be a Dutch influence). Rectangular plan.
3 storeys; irregularly disposed openings with C20 windows.
Seaward end has paired sash with glazing bars over former
loading doorways with ledged doors. INTERIOR retains much of
its orginal carpentry including roof structure.
