Former Royal Army Service Corps Store and Attached Courtyard Wall, Pendennis Castle

A Grade II Listed Building in Falmouth, Cornwall

Sorehouse

Uploader's Comments

This fine brick store, its walls originally covered in slate, was built between 1793 and 1811 as one of three storehouses at Pendennis that contained supplies for British troops fighting against Napolean's army in Spain and Portugal. Today there is a shop on the ground floor, while the upper floor houses a display of weapons, uniforms and insignia.
