Hotel. Later C18. Rusticated stucco to ground floor; brick;
Welsh slate roof; various brick stacks.
EXTERIOR: 3 storeys and cellar; 5-window range (3 in advanced
central bay): large 6/6 sashes in shouldered moulded stucco
architraves; stucco storey band; 3/3 sashes in moulded stucco
architraves; moulded stucco cornice and central pediment, to
stucco parapet. Central entrance: double doors with cambered
heads in stucco doorcase with keyblock and cornice; flanked by
four 6/6 sashes; storey band. Later wing to left: brick over
rusticated stucco; 6/6 sashes in moulded stucco architraves
with sill-band; 3/6 sashes in similar settings; continuing
cornice and parapet. C20 6-panel door and fanlight with
glazing bar (former window?); to left, round-headed 6/6 sash;
to right, 2 larger round-headed 6/6 sashes; moulded
semicircular arches with keyblocks and linking cornice. Right
returned side: three 6/6 sashes and 2 blocked openings in
moulded stucco architraves, to 1st and 2nd floors; sill-band,
and cornice to parapet. Two C20 12/12 sashes and C19 shallow
bay with 2/2: 4/4: 2/2 sashes, to ground floor.
