The Grape Vaults Public House

GV II

Houses, now inn. C18 front to C17 core. Roughcast;
steep-pitched plain tile roof with 2 ridge lines; brick end
stacks to rear. 3 storeys and cellar; 2-window range: 8/8
sashes under keyed and grooved stucco lintels, to 1st and 2nd
floors; stone-coped parapet. Entrance to centre right: C18
six-panel door; blocked entrance to centre left; two C20
cross-windows with casements; moulded fascia-board and
modillioned cornice overall, on 5 fluted columns. Left
returned side: C20 brickwork, over blockwork. Right returned
side: C20 weatherboarding, and spike-finial, to gable.
INTERIOR: C17 timber work.
