GV II

Rectory, now nursing home. Early C19, with mid and late C20
additions and alterations. Stucco with hipped slate roofs. 2
ridge and single side wall coped stacks.
Plinth, renewed eaves band. 2 storeys; 7 x 4 windows. Windows
are mainly original glazing bar sashes.
Garden front, to south, has a central canted projecting bay
with hipped roof and 3 windows on each floor. On each side, 2
windows on each floor. To left, flat roofed additions, 2
storeys, 2 and 3 windows.
Entrance front, to east, has regular fenestration with 4
windows on each floor, one altered. To right, a single storey
porch, flat roofed, with moulded doorway flanked by pilasters.
Fielded 6-panel door with fanlight.
INTERIOR has square stair well with wooden cantilever stair,
with stick balusters and ramped scrolled handrail. Coved
ceiling with patterned border and foliage boss. 2 round-arched
doorways with moulded 6-panel doors. 2 rooms with moulded
cornices and Adam style wooden fireplaces.
