Hotel and shop. c1900. Mock timber in the Shrewsbury style
with Welsh slate roof. 3 storeys with attic, 5-window range.
Mock framing in close studding with arcaded panels and
balustrading. Possible original shop front across the entire
facade incorporating doorway to right with moulded console
brackets to fascia. First floor has 2 oriel windows with
Ipswich glazing flanked by 2-light mullioned and transomed
windows, all with leaded lights. Moulded bressumer to jettied
second storey, with casement windows of 2 and 4 lights. Coved
eaves cornice and 2 gabled dormers with enriched cambered
collars and barge-boards with pendant finial.
