1704. White-washed over stone rubble with slate roof, 2 storeys. Gabled
porch with inner side benches, 3 windows on ground floor and 4 above, all
square sashes, the lower ones with slate dripstones. Interior has spice
cupboards and a court cupboard dated 1704. Was once the smithy and ostlers '
house for the Swan Hotel, a horse-changing stage.
