House and bakehouse. Circa late C17, extended in C19. Coursed limestone rubble. Stone tile and slate roof with hipped and gabled ends. Dressed stone stacks with cornices.
PLAN: 2-room plan; the left [N] room heated from a gable-end fireplace; the right-hand [S] room has a lateral fireplace at the back with a newel stair beside the stack. In the C19 the eaves were raised and outshuts were built behind the left [N] room and at the right [S] end linking the house to a bakehouse.
EXTERIOR: 2 storeys. 2-window west front with 2-light casements with glazing bars and central doorway with C19/20 gabled stone porch. Small outshut at right [S] end, linking house to projecting single-storey wing with a tall stack and projecting oven at the rear. Rear [E], 2 storey outshut on right and lateral stack on left incorporated into raised gable.
