Pair of cottages, possibly originally 3. Late C18 or early
C19. Rubble with brick dressings and stacks, thatch roof.
2 storeys, 2+2 windows, all 2-light small-pane casements, at
the ground floor with brick haunched segmental heads; those to
first floor of No.174 are original lights, all others are
replacements. To the left a C20 tiled gabled porch over C20
door, and to the right a C19 plank door under flat hood on
wrought-iron brackets. Stacks to left gable end, and to ridge,
right. The back has flat-roofed C20 additions.
