Former barn to rear of The London Arts and Exchange Ltd

Former barn, later used for storage. C17 timber-framed
building with C20 fenestration. Front clad in weatherboarding
and underbuilt in red brick, side elevation plastered and
weatherboarded to ground floor. Rear elevation weatherboarded
with loading door and C20 window. Right side weatherboarded on
Kentish ragstone plinth with brick to top. Some diagonal
braces and wall frame visible behind weatherboarding. Tiled
roof. One storey and attics; 2 windows. C20 flat-roofed
dormers and casements. Passage through at end has
weatherboarding, lath and plaster and rustic supports. Top of
the wall-plate sawn off to west showing that the building
originally was longer. Interior has chamfered beam, tie beams
with tension braces and collar beams and rustic rafters with
diagonal braces.
