French Street Farmhouse

Large house consisting of modern centre and right wings of 4 and 3 bays respectively
and left wing which is a restored C16 farmhouse. This part 2 storeys and attic,
2 windows, under hipped gabled end. High pitched, tiled roof, 1st floor and
attic tile hung. Overhanging 1st floor with visible beam ends. Square timber
framing with brick filling on ground floor; brick plinth. Replaced casement
windows in oak frames. On left return massive chimney of brick and stone, largely
reconstructed. Listed for this wing only, although rest of house is of sympathetic
character.

French Street Farmhouse and Oast House block form a group.

French Street Farmhouse shall be amended to read Frenchstreet House
