13/318 Knightsmead Farmhouse

II

Farmhouse, mid to later C18, possibly recasing earlier timber-
frame, red brick with Bridgwater tile roofs, ridge stack to main
range, south side stack and east end stack to crosswing. Two
storeys and attic, T-plan. Cyma-moulded flush stone mullion
windows. Main range has two 3-light windows each floor and centre
6-panel door in flush surround with hood on brackets. Crosswing
has half-hipped west gable, two dentilled brick bands, 2-light to
attic, 3-light to first and ground floors, both with small-paned
lights and sash centre. Long south side has stack to left
dentilled band, 3-light to centre each floor and 2-light to ground
floor right. West side of wing has 3-light each floor and plank
door in flush surround.
