Swithland slate headstone with shouldered round head, with foliate borders. Cartouche with urn on which an inner design of gravediggers tools, symbolizing mortality. To the memory of ? Lucy Caunt the Wife of Joseph Caunt who departed this life November the 2nd in the Year of our Lord 1775 and in the 44th Year of her Age. signed Brown, Whatton Sculpsit. The first line of the name has been reworked. Iron staples on both faces hold the slate together. (Photo Jun 2015).
