House. Earliest reference is of 1565 but surviving remains appear later C17. Timberframed
building refronted in early to mid C19. Refronted in painted brick on stone plinth, tile
hung to right side. Tiled roof hipped to left, gabled to right with brick stack. Two storeys; 2
windows. Early C19 12-pane sashes, cambered to ground floor. Central doorcase has flat
weatherhood on brackets and rear has 2 C20 extensions. Interior has large open fireplace, 9
feet by 4 feet 6 inches, with oak bressumer. Breadovens on both sides of central chimney
breast.
